Our history
JT Community Center was founded in 2012 in loving memory of Jacqueline "Aunt Jackie" Jones-Triplett, who served her community for over 20 years. JT community center originally formed in Columbia, South Carolina and focused on fundraising to support local shelters and feeding the homeless. Over the past 10 years our mission as grown to include promoting healthy physical and mental health, while attempting to lower the amount of juvenile delinquency in low income areas, bridging the gap for after school care of lower/middle class families and increasing accessibility to mental health counseling services.
Our mission
The mission of the Jacqueline Triplett Community Center is to enhance the quality of life of South Carolina residents and their families, by actively promoting participation in all aspects of community and increasing the accessibility to quality mental health services and financial literacy.
